I'm interested to know if either op system runs faster for games (probably 7) and if there are any graphical display differences. Has anyone seen Vista DX11 VS Win 7 DX 11 comparason's. So, in a nutshell I now have Vista SP2 with DX11 support but Metro is not allowing me to enable it in the game menu. However DX 11 is still greyed out in Metro's video options and I can't figure out how to enable DX 11 mode. I than realized I screwed up and installed SP2 (Vista DX 11 support) than re-booted. The problem is, maximum possible resolution for this monitor is 1366x768圆0Hz and now whenever i start up Metro 2033 i get an obvious message saying 'Out of Range - Set Resolution to 1366x768' then after about 30 seconds the monitor goes into sleep mode. The game went through it's setup and alerted me that I still needed Service Pack 2 and when I ran it Only DX 9 was available in the video options (DX 11 was greyed out). Hello, so, i had a 1080p monitor and been playing this game until a few days ago, my monitor broke down and had to change to my secondary one. I than downloaded Service pack 2 but forgot to install it Before Downloading and installing Metro 2033. I did a fresh install of Vista Biz (32 bit) and had Service Pack one installed. Hopefully this is a quick fix so I don't have to uninstall and re-download/install this game.
